Young Investigator Award

As a tradition of the NYC Neuromodulation meeting, the 2018 Neuromodulation Conference & NANS Summer Series keeps offering the Young Investigator Awards.

The requirements for this Award are that the awardee must be less than 40 years old (on the first day of the meeting, August 24, 2018), and have significant contributions to the field of neuromodulation (at least 10 journal publications in this area with more than 30 citation). The awardee must also be the first author on a poster or oral presentation submitted and accepted to the meeting. The award includes waived registration fees and a certificate from the meeting. The awardees and their topics of research will be publicly announced at the closing ceremony of the meeting. We anticipate offering three awards this year, distributed across various topics and demographics. Authors can self-nominate for consideration when completing the on-line abstract submission. The Conference Abstract Committee will make the final decisions based on the quality and novelty of the submitted work. This year 3 Young Investigator Awards were given out of over 400 applicants:

The awardees at the meeting were:

  2. Zeinab Esmaeilpour - MRI Neuroimaging Methods for tDCS: A Methodological Note on Study Design and Parameter Space
